Concession Assessments
To provide a psychometric profile of cognitive and scholastic functioning, identifying patterns of strengths and areas for development that may contribute to diagnostic formulation. Assessments can support psychologists and psychiatrists in clinical settings by providing quantitative insights into areas such as learning, attention, processing and reasoning, while also informing recommendations for educational or occupational support.
Recommendations based on objective test results - approval deteremined by examining board. The Independent Exam Board (IEB) requires a specific battery of cognitive and scholastic assessments to determine whether IEB-registered students meet the qualifying criteria for exam concessions. Please note: For learners at WCED schools, FET Phase (Grades 10–12) exam accommodations require WCED approval and therefore a psycho-educational report and formal diagnosis from an Educational Psychologist.
